At Dashrath Mahavidyalaya, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Anti-Ragging Cell has been established in line with UGC guidelines to ensure that no student faces any form of ragging on campus. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and any act of mental or physical abuse, harassment, or indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell:

  • To create awareness about the consequences of ragging among students.
  • To prevent and eliminate any form of ragging through active monitoring and measures.
  • To provide a mechanism for students to report any incidents of ragging without fear.
  • To take prompt and stringent actions against offenders, ensuring a safe environment.

What Constitutes Ragging?

  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Mental harassment
  • Forcing juniors to perform activities that cause discomfort
  • Discrimination based on caste, gender, or background

Reporting Ragging:

Students can report any ragging-related incidents to the Anti-Ragging Cell through the following:

Consequences of Ragging:

  • Suspension or expulsion from the institution
  • Legal action as per the Anti-Ragging Act
  • Cancellation of admission
